For this situation, we kindly recommend visiting a local professional jeweler for a thorough cleaning. If any professional cleaning fees are incurred, we would be happy to reimburse you.

You can gently press the two “wings” of the butterfly back inward. Please make sure to remove the backing from the earring before making this adjustment, as it should be adjusted on its own rather than while attached.
