THE GINGIBERI STANDARD™
Beyond Pearl Grading. Defined by Expertise.
Gingiberi evaluates pearls using the Gingiberi Standard™, a proprietary quality framework developed by its FGA-certified gemologist founder. The standard combines global sourcing, gemological evaluation, and conservative internal grading to select pearls that often exceed conventional grading expectations.

01. GLOBAL ORIGIN
Exceptional Pearls Begin at Their Source.
02. BEYOND CONVENTIONAL GRADING
We Reject More Pearls Than We Accept.
Rather than relying on a single commercial grade, we assess every pearl across multiple characteristics—including pearl luster, surface condition, nacre quality, shape, color & overtone, matching, and overall harmony.
Every pearl is evaluated under the GINGIBERI Standard™. Many pearls accepted elsewhere never become GINGIBERI.
Our Standard. Independently Recognized.
Our internal grading is intentionally conservative. In many cases, pearls that do not reach our highest internal grade may still qualify for respected third-party certifications.
For instance, some of our internally graded 2A Akoya pearls have successfully passed GUILD's Hanadama certification -underscoring the precision of our internal grading system and the high standards we uphold.
We don’t select pearls to meet commercial grades. We select pearls to deserve the GINGIBERI name.
